TechWorks focuses on providing persons with disabilities of all ages assistive technology services in any setting.

These services are provided mainly in the Albuquerque Area. Upon special arrangements, services can also be provided anywhere in New Mexico.

TechWorks is a part of Adelante Development Center, Inc. TechWorks was first developed by Adelante in 1989 in conjunction with the New Mexico Division of Vocational Rehabilitation and the NM Technology Assistance Program. Adelante continues with its TechWorks services to support the needs of New Mexicans with Disabilities.

TechWorks Services include:

• Evaluations for Assistive Technology with Individualized Needs and Environments
• Customizations of Assistive Devices for the Individual
• Accessible Environmental Modifications for Offices, Recreational Settings and Homes

• Technical Assistance and Training with Consumers and Service Providers
• Coordinated Services with Therapy Service Providers, General Contractors, Vendors and Programs
• Funding Resource Information Assistance for Individuals, Families, Providers and Employers
